Cameron Krueger was born in Hawaii in 1962. His parents moved from Wilmette in 1960 to settle in the new state of Hawaii with Cam’s two sisters and brother. Cam moved to Illinois in 1980 and attended Principia College in Elsah, Illinois. He earned his Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration and Economics. He then attended Northwestern’s Kellogg Graduate School of Management where he earned his MBA in Finance. With parents and grandparents from Wilmette, settling here was an easy decision.
In his professional life Cameron is a management consultant at one of the leading global consulting firms with revenues in excess of $10 billion. He is Vice President in charge of Banking and Capital Markets strategy. Cam works with clients around the globe to develop and implement plans to grow their markets and keep costs under control. He has been consulting for over 10 years and has founded or co-founded several successful businesses. His experience includes commercial real estate management, residential real estate sales, municipal finance, and asset finance. He brings a deep understanding of business, management and finance. As well as the ability to quickly understand complex issues and evaluate them objectively.
Today Cam and his wife, Diane, are raising four children - one at New Trier, one at the Junior High, one at Highcrest and one at Central. The Krueger family is active in the usual variety of activities from soccer to swimming, church youth groups to school activities. Cam has coached or managed basketball, baseball, t-ball, and hockey. In all, he’s worked with over twenty youth teams of all ages plus Cub Scouts, Indian Guides and Indian Princesses. Diane is active in the community as the President-elect of the Central School PTA.
With deep roots in the community it’s easy to understand why making a difference is so important to Cam and his family.
In their free time they all like to travel, ski and sail.
